is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholastics, leadership and talent in young women. Earn scholarships for higher education, personally develop through the DYW Life Skills Workshops, and make new friends from around the state.

$10 for Preliminaries and Finals. March 13, 2024 6:30 pm

College scholarships are awarded at the state level and millions in college-granted scholarships are available nationally. The state representative will advance to the national program for the opportunity to compete for cash tuition scholarships. To participate, you must be in your junior of high school. Participants are evaluated in the areas of: scholastics, interview, talent, self-expression, and fitness.

Career GoalMy Career Goal Is To Teach Elementary School Kids. I Worked At The Boys And Girls Club For Over Two Years, Where I Found My Passion For Teaching Kids. We Did Enrichment Activities, Homework Time, And Much More With Our Group Of Kids From Kindergarten Through 5th Graders. I Enjoyed Every Moment And Can't Wait To Graduate College To Start Working As A Teacher, Making A Difference In A Child's Life, And Being An Essential Part Of Their Growth And Childhood. Another One Of My Career Goals Is To Have A Side Photography Business Where I Can Take Pictures Of Important Events In A Person's Life And Share My Photography With The World. When I Started Taking Yearbooks At Twin Falls High School, I Never Would Have Guessed That Photoplay Could Be So Fun. I Took Pictures Of Plays, Concerts, And Many More School Events That I Was Fond Of, And I Would Love To Continue Taking Photos For Events After High School. As Well As My Mother Has Also Videographed Many Quinceañeras To Make A Movie For Them Where I Could Take Pictures Of Them To Practice For The Future And Loved It.
